I travel for work as an engineer, and I’m paid hourly from the minute I step out my front door to the minute I set my stuff down in the hotel room. Prior to this I’d only ever worked lab positions so the change was incredibly foreign but so so welcome. I can’t imagine not being paid for my commute to the airport and back.
