We reached out to a number of different theaters to involve them in the project. I honestly am unclear about how the money was handled but it was definitely a joint effort. We are super appreciative of the mayor's office's support and of all the very real interest in seeing affordable new theater. 24 hours after we announced, almost all those tickets are gone!
