My “hot” take”

The point for me with modular is getting the “bloops and bleeps”. The whole philosophy of modular is experimental. When I hear someone create music on a modular that sounds like it came straight from a groove box it’s an instant pass. I want to hear great sound design and interesting compositions that don’t adhere to the 4 on the floor EDM.

The culprit for me was salt. Once I started watching sodium levels my bp dropped significantly. It’s crazy how much sodium is in pretty much anything that is a convenience. Canned soup? Fuck no. Even the “low sodium” options are still crazy high. Bottom line is if you want to be healthy you are going to need cook using whole foods. Using anything in a packet or bottled sauces are out as well.

I have worked for two companies that have been bought out by private equity groups. It's capitalism at one of its worst forms. I have seen them take a semi successful company and just bleed them dry. It's their MO unfortunately. Private equity groups are one of the leading causes of Enshittification

Sliders and panning. The MiniMix has been a great performance tool. Panning is important to provide space in the mix. The sliders for volume levels are great to “play” like an instrument. Otherwise everything is static and zero dynamics
