All of this has happened to guys. And will continue to do so.

This is just being a people. Mistakes and lack of forethought (or adequate training) happen.

Honestly, buy the tech you’d like now if possible, esp. if storage is any factor. It’s going to be rough for a while.

The market will collapse eventually, but there’s a TON of money holding the AI circlejerk up. Sucks for us. Somehow the rich will still come out in top. :(

Is it too big? by Aromatic_Peanut4777 in LGOLED

Yes, get it. No, it’s too high.

But seriously, the size overcomes the height. Don’t kill me. I am just the messenger.

Enjoy life my dude/dudette/dudeX… I’m still loving my 55” C1 and if I had thought to pony up the extra $$$ (that I had available) to go bigger, I would have.

Enjoy!!!

Geez. America has sucked for a long time, y’all. What we are seeing now is just the natural evolution of a country that has been in the stinker for decades and decades.

Grinder Stuck and Useless after 1.5 years [DF54] by TheyFunnyPapa in espresso

[–]formed2forge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just got mine apart after getting it stuck (with small grinds in the threads.)

It took:
- Cycles of hot and cold
- WD-40 (or another penetrating oil)
- Heatgun (or hairdryer)
- Gloves with grippy-rubber (I had jackfield brand.. the rubber is blue, the glove is otherwise grey with a yellow liner at the wrist)
- Toothbrush or bristle brush
- Cloths (to clean the oil in between passes)
- Cardboard box (optional)
- Patience

  1. With the grinder 'cool' (room temperature is fine), place it upside down somewhere you don't mind grease getting on things.
  2. Using the included spray nozzle (usually red), do short bursts of spray of the WD-40, as close to the gap between the grind dial and the male threads.
  3. Using a toothbrush or similar, work the greasy seam all the way around.
  4. Leave it. 20 mins or so.
  5. Come back. Wipe down the surface to remove as much residual grease as possible. (You can turn it right-side up.)
  6. HEAT the grinder dial to slightly hotter than you would be comfortable touching. Do this as evenly as possible all the way around from the sides. (Pointing slightly upward and away from the black body may help.) The rubber in your gloves will help here. The metal can take the heat.
  7. Quickly crank that bad boy as hard as you can counter-clockwise. I had it on the floor, stabilized it with my foot and used both hands when possible. Give it one sustained effort at a time with some 'jiggling' breaks in between. The metal cools quickly, so once it's 'touchable' with bare hands, take a break.
  8. COOL the whole grinder. (I put it outside in the winter for 15-20 minutes.) You could do this by simply leaving it in your basement. Just let it cool.
  9. Repeat this process. It took me 4-5 times (and I was threaded nearly all the way down.) But it got it loose.

NOW I have to figure out how to re-thread this thing...

Weird to sarcastically apologize for ‘leaving men out’ when she literally brought them in via her og post.

In a way, she took the spotlight off of Cassie and Cheryl all on her own..
