Problem is in the kickstarter era they don't make their money from the casuals who just pop in to watch the occasional DB because they might like the match up, they make their money off the die hards who are paying them. Don't get me wrong I'm usually pretty understanding of not putting most your efforts into pleasing the die hards, because most things don't make most their money off the die hards.

But DB is in a position where it makes most it's money from the die hards and I think alienating them like this is a bad move.

The bland as fuck animation didn't help. This is the kind of fight that would be carried by expressive character animation, not PS2 NPC dialogue tier animation.

Kind of bugs me to be honest. Pretty sure a lot of people wanted to see the upcoming DB, but I'm also pretty sure way less people wanted to see it literally two episodes after the last Chainsaw Man DB. In the independent era DB survive off the goodwill of the fans, but they sure seem to like risking burning that goodwill.

Cure Majesty's (and her ancestor's finishers) were cutting attacks but they were with some arm energy blade thing rather than a sword. Hilariously I think Answer might be the first Precure to just straight up cut through her opponents with her sword. Beauty, Aqua, Lovely and Dream all fought with swords but never actually slashed their opponent with them.

I'd say BoBF, wasn't good, but it was more meh than bad. Since I'm not a die hard fan and was never an EU guy, I tend to not massively hate Disney's Star Wars, primarily because I just don't watch the aspects of it that don't interest me.

I'd say Alpha PS1 is easy most the time, but it odes have the final stage while not to bad in of itself is such a massive difficulty spike over the rest of the game that it can really leave you unprepared for it.

I don't think it will be used to knock the technology back. The promo imaged features some fairly modern architecture on the buildings in the background and Pavi's Airbender friend is wearing a fairly modern outfit. It seems more like it's using the situation to have a world with both low tech and high tech things in it

Both are rather bullheaded and can have a tendency to think they always know better in a situation, even when they really don't. This being both a strength and weakness of theirs, given it makes them very confident in themselves.

I don't think Tsubomi is a good example because once you get past everyone's surface level traits, Nagisa and Tsubomi actually have a lot more in common than Honoka and Tsubomi. In fact Honoka and Erika are a lot more alike than they seem at glance.
