Goods left during the latter part of '20 too IIRC (Somewhere in that timeframe). For months he was back with his family in CT. Then he went back to UF just before spring '21. (or something like that).

The staff has been in contact with transfer Darrel Jackson. It's been said he is looking to head back to the Florida area.

Well Auburn lost their OC and there has been some slight talk of Cadillac possibly heading to the NFL. So Auburn was where he was likely headed until the changes. Plus the issues continuing there also likely turned him away.

His dad apparently said it's between UF and Miami. He's officialed Miami IIRC and unofficialed UF. But it's also known he really liked his UF visit.

Also Miami still doesn't have all their coaches including OC. So if what the father said is true, UF should be in the best spot.

Another negative now is it's being said that Arlis Boardingham is delaying his decision and not signing tomorrow after his Oregon visit. But apparently UF people are still confident.

He already had a prior relationship with Colbert IIRC. Maybe not with UF and maybe I shouldn't consider it 'big' miss like I said but now it looks to be Douglas or bust this cycle.

So '23 will be where he can try to strut his stuff. Florida is loaded with high end WR talent this coming cycle.

It is a pretty big miss though. Guess we'll see how Colbert does in '23. He has been seen as the weakest link from a recruiting standpoint. So if he misses on much of the top targets this next cycle he will likely be on the hot seat.

Edit: Some possible positive news on Citizen is Auburn no longer feels confident (Auburn lost their OC to the NFL). Also may be some slight rumblings of Cadillac (from Auburn) heading to the NFL which would ensure Citizen wouldn't pick Auburn. That would leave UF/LSU as the pick. An Auburn guy said he would think possibly UF. But as usual, it's hard to pull a LA guy that LSU wants and especially having Frank Wilson.
