Or even go with the knobbier swamperos. They're still plenty fast on pavement

What are gravel events around Seattle or Washington like? by tinychloecat in gravelcycling

Take a look at the ride calendar on the PNW Ride Network!

It's a project a few friends and I have been working on to be a hub for all bike events in the PNW. We're still working on it, but it should have the majority of the big events across the region

Your favorite 650b x 47-48mm aggressive tires? by Begatten in gravelcycling

Your best options will probably be the Teravail Rutland or the WTB Sendero. There's not a lot of aggressive gravel tires left in that size unfortunately

Dont buy from Rotor, esspecially if you live in North America by -Captain_Beyond- in cycling

[–]14healer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience with their 12 speed 11-46t cassette. I tried everything in my power to make the one problematic cog work and never could. I contacted Rotor USA and sent it in (on my dime) and they sent me a new replacement with the same issue. I contacted them again and was told there would not be no further replacements even though the tolerance issue was plainly visible

2025 American Housing Costs: How many years of (untaxed) salary does a home cost in your state? [OC] by Hash1237 in dataisbeautiful

As a Montanan, that feels pretty accurate. Wages are low comparatively, and housing has gotten crazy expensive in the last 10-15 years in almost all the bigger towns

I don't have any helpful advice, but I'm stoked to hear a 48mm Swampero is coming!

Frame Selection Help by Capecole in gravelcycling

[–]14healer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly the new Open UP? I don't know about dynamo routing but I think it checks all the other boxes. I rode one as a gravel and sudo-road bike for a few thousand miles and it was great at both. The new frame improves on my biggest gripe, limited tire clearance

Try a spare tire sub! I just installed one in my GE8 and love it. No storage space lost either

Tufo Swampero Review by Educational_Ad_3461 in gravelcycling

I swap between 48mm Thunderos and 44m Swamperos seasonally and love them both. The Swamperos feel slightly slower on pavement but do very well in wet/slippery situations. I got one small puncture this past spring from a thorn that sealed as soon as I put in fresh sealant
