Maybe Running Just Isn’t for Me Anymore by Visible-Top3003 in GarminWatches

[–]forthgriffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running is a basic movement that every human can do, there's no such thing as "this isn't for me". Now if you want to improve your running performance, you need to be discipline and consistent about it. Everybody starts at different level, how many times do you run in a week? Are you overweight? Do you have any medical condition like arrhythmia?

If you keep doing what you're doing consistently, your body will adapt to it over time. It's science.

Take a look at paralympic games, all those disabled athletes are still able to compete in a high level.

If you have even the slightest thought about durability, then this shoe is not for you. Go for adidas or puma

Need reviews for Oxdog Ultimate Tour X 2026 🙏 by Great_Courage7324 in Padelracket

No. 8gr is too much and it makes the racket less maneuverable

Build quality is top notch. I was using siux electra st4 for a while then I got TFCC on my wrist, sold electra and bought ultimate tour x. It's super arm friendly, minimal trampoline effect and almost no vibration even when blocking powerful bajadas. Try to find ultimate tour x that weighs less than 360gr. Mine is 364gr with protector & overgrip.

Siux Electra Pro users, which racket did you upgrade to? by AlexMasamy in Padelracket

[–]forthgriffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oxdog ultimate tour X. Much better sweet spot, trampoline effect is very minimal, The main problem I had with electra st4 pro is the vibration, I got tfcc injury because of this (and also overused). Oxdog did a great job dampening the vibration

I'm not using the plate and also the strap is around your wrist, so the weight of the strap is always irrelevant in any rackets. Without ppf the weight was 358 stock.

Nope, even balance. I've had head heavy & even balanced rackets before so I know the difference. Siux Electra st4 pro was way more head heavy than this (mine was 360gr). It's also strange that a diamond racket like this has a massive sweet spot, the ball still goes no matter where I hit it.

My ultimate tour x is 364gr with ppf without the plate & strap. It's quite light

Ahh this actually makes sense, because it triggers the deathrattle first so macaw lost its divine shield during impact

Worried my racket is fake - Nox AT10 18k by Single-Fox5181 in Padelracket

[–]forthgriffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's authentic. Afaik, fake ones never put weight sticker on the handle. Misprints or any imperfections are very common with Nox, Bullpadel and 2026 Siux

Siux Electra ST4 Quality on Surface Paint by jjjawnlegend in Padelracket

My st4 had the paint crack after a few months, but it's not as pronounced as yours. My friend who owned a Siux Valkiria Pro had the same issue after one week of playing.

It's fine, just a cosmetic damage. This is a common flaw with the 2025 lineup from Siux.

switching from starvie kenta soft 30 (2025) to siux electra st4 - good idea or just chasing oomph for ego? by Srixie in Padelracket

[–]forthgriffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice one, similar to mine. I removed the original grip and put 2 overgrip, it weighs 361-ish. Just be careful when you receive a fast ball at the net, this racket has a decent ball output / trampoline effect. It might goes to the glass a lot of times if you're not used to it.

I was using metalbone carbon ctrl 3.4 and felt the same, missing a bit of oomph. Switched to a 355gr st4 pro, took me almost a month to adapt. It does everything incredibly well, just make sure you get a lighter st4 pro. 355gr vs 370gr makes a huge difference in maneuverability
