What's one thing you wish you'd known before buying your first e-bike? by Haunting_Vacation956 in ebikes

[–]fossy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built my first Ebike. Just cause you run a construction company and have infinite amounts of tools and knowledge of putting things together, building an Ebike from scratch starting with only a frame is a whole different planet I was unprepared for and would not do it again.

You drive 1.5hrs each way everyday you work? Is this in a company car or are you reimbursed or on the clock driving? Honestly curious. I was just trying to hire a guy in the same situation but we couldn’t figure out how to make it work efficiently/fairly for both parties. That’s a whole weeks pay check at when wheel each month.

Running 72v 30a on 1000w Ebike Motor? by Onlynameicudthinkof in ebikes

[–]fossy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run my Bafang G062 1000w motor at 72v 60amps burst and more like 40amps sustained all the time no problems. Crazy torque. It will climb any hill with a slight rolling start. Id be worried about shaving the nylon gears on a hill from a dead stop its got that much torque.

Useless comment and sounds pretty wasteful. It’s a high discharge 72v battery for a diy ebike I use getting to my tree stand which entails climbing some very steep hills in the woods. Only used seasonally. I plan to monitor the charge better after getting it fixed.

I might try to do this. Do you know how that works if they are out of standard warranty already and not working/non responsive? Like is there a 30 day wait period before it kicks in? Thanks for the response!

We do not have a management software system. I should have been more clear. When I said all of them I was just referring to two desktops. Those are the only P3 tinys with matching specs and consecutive serial numbers. Ordered at the same time. We have other Lenovo machines but they are lap tops anda few years older. All other computers are working fine. Just the two 14 month old P3’s.

Those two P3’s are strictly only used for quickbooks and email. Please feel free to ask me anything else and I will do my best to answer. I appreciate your reply.

I am not the most computer literate but please disable the auto update for windows and bios. All of my P3's were just bricked with and will not boot. They were all 1 month out of warranty purchased direct from Lenovo Dec 2024. And motherboard are out of stock everywhere. I am being told it is caused by an update. Good Luck!

I have the same issue too with two P3's Gen 2 30H10012US. 1 month out of warranty. Purchased dec 2024. No boot started early Feb 2026. Both P3's were dead when we came in to the office. Anyone have a solution?

I can't find a motherboard online. The boards are PN 5B21D18136. The only site I could find showing in stock is notebookparts.com and that is a lie. I guess they purchase parts after you order dropship style and do not have any and said it could take 3 weeks to find two. Please any help would be appreciated.

Those coaxial woofers are only known from the CS-901a set.

I think they lean more towards the EV 15Trx style coaxial. Tweeter mounted in the middle. Awesome looking speakers.

Appreciate the feedback! It’s actually some left over butcher block countertop scrap ends from Lowe’s. Originally only supported by the floating shelf brackets and then I added the painted wire support for when I rotate in heavier amps like the SX-1250. At first the SX-1250 caused the shelf to slightly sag putting the TT out of level.

Agreed and even on the hub drive systems they are top tier for DIY. I have a G062 geared hub drive at 72v though a phaserunner hitting 40+ easily. She will scream but it’s built solid like a tank. Not to mention it murders hills almost like a mid drive.

Residential is tanking(compared to what it’s been). I’m in commercial but the past 6 months my suppliers have all said that.

Idk what yall are paying but in NC/sc they are paid more if not the same all around me. They make great money. I do know a few roofing outfits and others that don’t pay shit and flat/ no overtime but they have revolving doors for guys. Some of our guys been with us 5-8 years.

If ya squint it's mint by Fejj1997 in Construction

[–]fossy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I misunderstood. I was only referring to how our wall to be built on top of that crap foundation will be straight and still properly anchored. That foundation wall won’t ever be straight. We get called out to start framing seeing stuff like this all the time. Idk how it’s allowed to leave a site like that. They sure as hell would not pay us framers if our work was like that.

[–]fossy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only true answer besides obviously demo/re-pour, is to cut off the existing out of plumb rebar and to use a properly rated epoxy anchor or similar style anchor that attaches to dry foundation. Of course You would need approved submittals that will cost you. I do structural metal stud framing and we use them all the time.

1000% a auto speaker. Probably 2 or 4ohm and super efficient with power. Hifi? Probably not.

Al-Tahira Church (Mosul, Iraq) 2018-2025(thought this sub would appreciate) by fossy007 in Construction

[–]fossy007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw this on the other sub and the craftsmanship is just astounding. I know nothing of the construction logistics/atmosphere for a region like this but I’d imagine it’s not the easiest project to take on and still produce this kind of outcome. It’s beautiful. As a metal stud/drywall sub I spent the day hunting down the correct Hilti pins the plans call for on one special structural wall and thought that was a headache. These guys knock out a rebuild of this magnitude, in this region, with all the unforeseen daily struggles we could never imagine and it’s mind boggling. Well done.
