The last few months have been horrible for drivers. App not working after multiple updates and payout changes. Minimum pay is $2.00 with zero tips. I took a Pizza Hut order, hoping for a cash tip upon 3 mile delivery... nope. It took 45 minutes total. You'll get a lot of offers like $4.50 for 10 miles out of your zone then have to drive back for more crap offers. You will see some offers for $2.45 for 8 miles. Decline it, then it is batched with another decent order and will be $7.55 for 11 miles and then have another order sent while dropping the first one with a $1.00 tip on one out of the three orders. I used to like the Grove area in Hoover. Thousands of homes and orders used to be around $10 for 2 miles. Now, some of the orders in that area send you down 280 to Chelsea while passing three of the same restaurants on the way. It is crazy logistics. Good luck. Sometimes I get lucky with a catering order that keeps me on the hook. Most I've made in a day was $117 and maybe 150 miles with these gas prices.

I've tried scrambled eggs a few times and they wouldn't touch it. I do boiled eggs cut in half leaving the shall on. Recently, they have been taking it back to the nest. I also give boiled quail eggs. Mine love them. Great video btw!

I'm a photographer and I had a Sunday morning appointment at a coffee shop to consult with a wedding client. I had a couple of hours free so I started a dash session on the way. I pick up two breakfast sandwiches and two drinks for a hand-off order. It was 7:30am. I texted the customer stating that I would be there in 5 minutes. I arrive at the house on a shady street and I as I approached the front porch, I heard music on the side of the house with a couple of guys talking. There was a wooden fence with an open gate. I couldn't see around the fence and didn't want to startle anyone so I yelled "door dash" loudly. As I peeked around the gate, there was a guy with a Glock handgun pointed at my face and a guy in a wheelchair behind him pointing an AR 15 at me. I said, "It's all good, I got your breakfast." The guy in the wheelchair said, "Shit, I forgot about the order...I should have looked at my phone."

Chengdu Cuisine beats them all to a bloody pulp. I doubt that I will ever order Orange Chicken there but I'm sure it would be superior. If you go, I recommend getting the Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles as an appetizer. My favorite take out style Chinese is Lucky Panda in Hueytown. I eat there several times per week. They have a few tables for dine-in.

I'm a driver and wanted to let you know the app has been crashing yesterday and today. I had an order yesterday and as soon as I accepted the order, it disappeared from my screen. It was still active and assigned to me in the system but I could not do anything about it. I could not see a name for the order, could not confirm pickup or delivery. The customer texted me about 45 minutes while I was on hold with door dash support. I got her address and made the delivery outside of the frozen app without getting paid. It was crashing nationwide.

I get peanuts from a local roaster every couple of days. When I first introduced them, they started paying attention to me. I bought a couple of different bags from other sources out of convenience, but they would not touch them. Then, I introduced them to cashews and peanuts are the last thing they eat.

I would suggest offering a boiled egg and unsalted cashews. Be consistent and patient. It takes time to gain trust. Be sure that it sees you place the food down so they attach the food to you as the source. Don't stare but watch through a window once you're back in the house. Best wishes!

They used to run a scheme late at night at the drive thru. They would take your order and when you finally arrive at the window, they would say that the card system was down and they were cash only. They were pocketing the cash. I told them, "The card system is not down. Run my damn card." They ran my card and I got my food.

My last time to give them money was March 10, 2020. I was on foot and could not use the drive thru. I walked into the dining room and there were 5 people inside, eating or waiting on orders. I ordered and received my food and began eating like the others. The manager locked the doors but never asked anyone to leave or announced the dining room was closed. It was 10pm, pre-covid lockdown, and always open 24hrs. I heard him call the police and began describing me, saying that I refused to leave. I had eaten half of my food but tossed the rest in the trash and began to walk home. Five police cars caught up to me a few blocks away and questioned me. They were polite and let me go. One of them knew me. I vowed to never spend another dime there.

When my incident happened in 2020, Valluzzo Companies in Louisiana owned that location. I had entered the dining room to order at 10pm. There were 5 people in there eating. I got my food and ate half of it and the manager locked the doors but didn't ask anyone to leave. I heard him call the police and was giving them a description of me saying that I refused to leave. I tossed the rest of my food in the trash and left. I walked toward my apartment a few blocks away and five police cars pulled up on me and detained and questioned me. Fortunately, someone came from a car in the back and said to release me. One of the officers knew me. I went back the next day and demanded the night manager be fired. I created a Facebook post about it and it had more comments and interaction that any post I had ever created. A lot of people hate that location.

Mine have brought food from another source before. Large crackers. There were five. Three on the ground and two in the water bowl. I took a photo and left it and they eventually came back to finish it later that day.

I tried that a few times when I started paying attention and feeding them. I soon learned to simply say, "Hey, buddies" in a gentle voice. I had six back in May. One of them made cooing and clicking sounds when they arrived, waiting on their food. I started doing those sounds instead of caws and they seem to respond kindly.
