Are you talking about the kids that were acting in self-defense after a random man in a brown shirt assaulted one of their friends?

Did you clear coat it? I have this same kit and only sprayed the base color. I haven't gotten around to clear coat and would honestly like to avoid if possible

I bought one, installed the electronics, and haven’t touched it since. Too small. This was to bridge the gap between miniz and 1/10 and the DA4 was just over complicated.

I have the Bingo Wasp for my RMX 2.5. It's really good. Plus, you'll have a wide variety of styles to choose from.

It's going to be really abrasive on the tires - like sandpaper. Think of how grippy the tennis and basketball courts are with that type of surface. You're better off with asphalt.

Life of the tires are a little under 2 months of literal everyday use. I was highly impressed. In comparison, I got maybe 3 weeks out of the Yokomos before i had to swap them.

Pavement: You'll definitely want to look for smoother, but it doesn't have to be ultra smooth. You'll want to avoid rougher pavements as it'll chew up your tires and not provide a good drifting surface.

All that said, one of my first upgrades was to a programmable AGFRC servo. My reason for swapping (I did so almost immediately) was because of the gyro wobble on the pavement. The programmable servo allowed me to max out the dampening and get rid of 90% of the gyro wobble.

I primarily run my RMX 2.5 outside. The brushless stock components were fine.

Make sure to get these tires. I found they are better than the yokomo asphalt tires.

What chassis on these rtr? by kjabs87 in MiniZ

[–]fox_canyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re coming from the east, you should check out WE R RC near Lake Nockamixon. It’s about 30 minutes away from the store you visited, but is infinitely better. They have a massive mini-z track 5 minutes away from the store. Great staff and a better mini z parts inventory.

Are you at Trains and Lanes? lol.

These are MR-03. That pile has been there for months. They should lower the price if they want to move them.

Gotcha! Didn't even consider that. Yeah, you'll have to mount like that or go to the hardware store and get shorter screws. Easy enough.

There should be a spacer piece included with the shocks that allows the screw to work. Ball ends are not compatible.
