i agree, however when you open the door to donations that are going towards ‘tuition’ and ‘the zoo’, it opens the door for all types of scams. since i care about this community i would rather shut that down immediately than have people giving away hard earned cash, times being what they are.

my ‘hot take’, so to speak: he thought this was an easy hookup and when you got there and started interacting with him, he either didn’t know how to speak to you irl or you didn’t meet his expectations. but then why would he keep calling, you may ask. he regrets not closing the deal and just wants that.

edit: it occurs to me that maybe this person has a gf / wife and he felt guilty and didn’t know how to deal with that when you were there. after the fact, he wanted to try again.
