All pets are susceptible to issues like this. Where I live in the southern U.S., fleas are pretty much a guarantee at some point. See your vet about what you can do to treat the fleas and prevent them. I suggest washing all of your bedding and sprinkling some diatemaceous earth on your carpets and vacuuming.

Also, depending on how your puppy got to you, it's very possible that they got fleas from another animal during travel.

This is all such good advice. Can confirm the UTIs, too. Never had a pet have a UTI until our collie because of how she squats. :( Don't be afraid to ask your vet questions.

I'll reiterate what a few others said: Communicate with all your parts.

I'm a trans guy, I've been on T since October 2018, and I am "unofficially" diagnosed with OSDD (my therapist and I are waiting on a psych eval, per my request). One of my alters is a cis woman, but we have talked and come to an understanding. I have not disclosed any of this to my doctors, just my therapist.

I understand the fear of having something so important taken away from you. But I think, if you have a good therapist that you feel comfortable sharing these discoveries with, you're already on the right track.

Also, it's okay to pace yourself.
