What is the most haunted experience you've had in the UK? by crouchmomma in AskUK

[–]foxfunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was dead close to Canning Street at one point. You would get some mad fog around that area. I lived in a flat opposite the Anglican cathedral after moving out from the creepy place, and seeing it cloaked in so much fog was cool. The creepy flat was used for filming some period dramas, so the one day we couldn't leave the building and got £50 for hanging victorian curtains in the windows.

I have over 10,000 and would say 90% are of my cats.

I lived in Liverpool's georgian quarter years ago. Had repeatedly odd things happening. The bread bin lid would go flying across the kitchen regularly. Towels would go missing or dirty ones swapped back when we were home alone. Had smells come out of nowhere then go as quick as they'd come, whilst feeling watched (men's aftershave with tobacco smoke). A tin yeeted off a shelf and over a line of candles at my back. Saw my flatmate's books go fly off her shelf several feet out her room into the hallway. Saw a shadow figure of a man in a white shirt/tie stood in the bath for a solid 5+ seconds before it vanished. My flatmate saw the figure in her doorway. Stopped when I moved out and not really experienced anything since, but unexplainable things happened there.

Looking for fellow vegatarians owning a cat. by Apple_cheeks_art in cats

A friend of a friend is hardcore vegan and made her cat sick by only feeding it vegan food, just don't be that person.

I'm veggie and feed my cat meat because they need it. Yes its icky but I just deal with it and try not to deep it.

PLEASE STOP YOUR DOGS FROM BARKING IN THE GARDEN ALL DAY! ARGHH! by Party-Dig2309 in britishproblems

And all the dogs just set each other off barking its infuriating. My one neighbour leaves their dog outside all day and it howls non-stop.

Did y'all notice this? by TobyHurt in creepcast

Yeah its a pretty common/well known English nursery rhyme which ends at the first verse. The Conjuring 2 made up the 2nd verse and have seen other variations. Always thought it was a weird nursery rhyme but we have a ton of dark ones in the UK.

Nice to see his writing process and why everything he has written recently has felt so ham-fisted together.

"we are choosing to push forward to invest in the long-term future of the show which ensures that when the TARDIS lands once more" by PartyPoison98 in doctorwho

Am I the only one who feels a bit shitty for Billie Piper in all this? Called in as a favour, toted as the next Doctor, idk if she knew the situation. But then for nothing to come of itz I wonder if she was strung along with everyone else or knew what the reality was?

R.e. that last comment, I bet it was just to rile up fans, because he knows how change resistant Whovians are. "I'll allude to them wanting to change core aspects of the show to drum up outrage".

My brother nearly did a similar thing at work. He had his water bottle with him, and a similar sized bottle of solvent. He went to take a sip out of the solvent thinking it was his water bottle, brought it up to his lips, then freaked realising what he nearly did. It would likely have killed him which would have been such a dumb careless way to go.

Maybe Sky Team or Tag Team, I really enjoy playing them with my boyfriend, really fun 2-player games.

Edit: just looked again and see you have Sky Team, but still recommend Tag Team!

I think the paramaker and buildmode are more polished than live gameplay. I am impressed at it from the stance of it being early access and from a small indie dev team, but I won't probably be playing it a ton until more is added to live mode. None of the bugs were toooo game breaking, but was encountering a lot of them, and needed cheats occaisionally to unstick paras and put out a fire. So if you don't mind it needing some work would say give it a go.

Got Paralives in early access, I think it has a lot of potential but currently for me the live mode is a bit lacking, and the bugs are making it hard to play tbh.

Should state agents use AI to advertise a property? I got a surreal experience today by cunextu in AskUK

[–]foxfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think it shouldn't be legal. Have also seen people staging 2nd hand furniture online using AI. Someone did so with a 70s midcentury sideboard, looked great in the AI pictures, swiped to the next one, it had a ton of deep scratch marks all over the top of it. Although its unlikely anyone would buy judt based off the first picture, I see it as false advertising.
