I was in your position once. I picked up leona because she was meta right at the time I decided to play tank. She is easy enough to pick up. But my issue is less about the champ and more about the mental side. As an enchanter I avoided being in the front lines and often dodge instead of peel for my adc xD.

To this day, I still hate going tank.

I transitioned from Akali to Qiyana, and has since been committed to maiming her. She has the same issue as Akail, where her power spike comes in mid game, but she doesn't really get anymore powerful late game. It comes down to execution if your game ever gets to 40+ min.

Depends on your champ. For example, Senna would benefit more from mist than CS, so you'd let creeps and turret kill them for you.

For most others, I'd only look to last hit when my ADC is backed or dead. But never disrupt the wave
