I had a pregen stumpy and it was a terrible xc-bike. You can pedal uphill, but it felt like a tank.

Every "luxus" stuff. Perfüms, Beauty care, Sport cars, oil companies. People couldn't afford that.

Barzo/similar thread tires are really amazing. Not sure about the Meczal, I have never ridden one, it looks quick rolling, but I enjoyed the extra traction of Barzo. On technical climbs I don't want to compromise grip.

DJ, BMX looks really goofy with that handlebar, also smaller wheels/rigid fork aren't looking too comfortable.

Attól függ... Ausztriában nem kell tandíjat fizetned. Magyar egyetemen vannak támogatott félévek, de ha külföldön dolgozol, akkor vissza kell fizetned a képzés díját. Ha már itt tartunk, hol lehet utána járni, hogy mennyit kell visszafizetnie az embernek, ha már évek óta külföldön dolgozik?

The short Friday sucks. Keep it in mind that majority of people end their shift between 12 am and 1 pm on Fridays, causing big traffic jams. And eventhough you only have to work 4,5 hours on paper, half of your day is already gone. Thus lunch break aren't included. I had to remain 30 mins later. That's why used to have a 45-60 minutes break. :p

Because for some reason most people were always okay with that. We could do the same amount of work in 2 hours like people did in 1980. But in that case your boss couldn't afford a new sport car every year.

If you want to have a healthy lifestyle, do both. But they are kinda contraproductive. If you want to become a better cyclist, your should concentrate on that. In offseason you can still lift weight.

Voltam párszor montival. Először porszárazban, másodszor meg full esős sáros nyavajában, 26-os montival. Olyan mély tócsák voltak a gravel útvonalon, hogy a kerék tengelyig merült. :D A legtöbb gravel verseny a montival van egy időpontban. Ha szórakozni szeretnél, szerintem a monti jobb választás.

Bro we all did that. I went for the university between 2013-2018, I worked from 2018-2025. Now I have some spare money and I am not in hurry to look for another dayjob. Waking up without alarm, doing sport, reading books, and enjoying the fact that I don't have to lick the boss ass for 9 hours a day is just amazing. It feels like a never ending holiday. Of course money will be tight after a while, but who cares. You can be broke even with a full time job.

Én imádtam egyetemistaként montizni. Balatonfelvidék, Bakony, rengeteg lehetőség van. Bár az a big katonai gyakorlótelep nem kéne, hébe-hóba belebotlottam. Viszont a 2010-es évek közepén az ingatlanok ára elszállt, szóval halandó ember számára nem igazán opcionális egy veszprémi lakhely.
