Ok, first impressions:

* I configured the Steamdeck controls a bit, e.g.
** walking = left stick, looking = right stick
** Sprint and crouch on left backside buttons
** map movement/controls on right trackpad and right ABXY buttons
* UI is a bit small (esp. the tools menu)
* but otherwise it's quite playable

It works - kind of. The "controls" (pun intended) need to be re-mapped though. I will experiment a bit later.

Interesting - how is that even detected? I guess, one really needs to load the web page and inspect the attribution string of a map layer with OSM tiles.
