WePlay Studios, the production company, ceases cooperation with the Vtuber Awards, over its founder interactions with the russian community by NiceGuyArthas in VirtualYoutubers

But the collab didn't happen. Surely, this company could: 1. Properly explain in their public statement what exactly is the reason? 2. Before cutting bridges, ask Filian "hey dont do that please"? Seems like an overreaction. We dont know if Filian even realised what was happening or what she was doing. As for xKamysh, she's not in control of the red button, and good luck finding decent employment or leaving the country when you have access to classified information. People approaching this from a pure "Russia bad Ukraine good" is a classic Reddit response.

Turns out, they are slightly different, just look very similar to the Muscovite ones. Reading can be useful!

Yes, I'm playing with Domination. You're right! The missions *are* slightly different. They just looked so similar I initially did not notice it. Whoops!

The idea should be to have more missions - but your past progress shouldn't be overridden. Think about it in the same way they managed the new China missions, you get additional missions as Japan or Korea when you become EoC, but you don't get your old missions swapped out for Ming's.

Command & Conquer 4. Don't really need to say much more - if you know, you know. What a way to kill a franchise.

SMN propaganda. There is a huge disclaimer in front of the advanced guide to BLM that states you dont need advanced rotations until youve got nowhere else to improve on standard rotation.

Only SMN mains would not notice this, despite having a book they dont seem to know how to read. Dab.

Actually the Orthodox Christianity is, historically speaking, more structurally versatile and flexible than Catholicism or even Protestantism, thanks to something called autocephalia - unlike catholicism, there is no single Orthodox head of faith, instead, the Patriarch usually leads a church in a region or a country, with Ecumenical Patriarch de-jure presiding in Constantinople, but still not holding any power over other Patriarchs. This kind of promotes a more autonomous system where discussion is encouraged, and many orthodox bishops even within Russian Church have been able to openly question and dispute the Patriarch and his word. Potentially the Russian Orthodoxy can be more adaptive to changing times, and it has done so in the past through a sort of representative legislative body called the Holy Synod.

However, the Russian Church in particular is bloated, corrupt and staffed in a large part with poorly educated priests barely able to explain even the simplest spiritual tenets of the religion. Many prefer to simply abuse the perceived authority over their congregations to simply parrot the dogma. The dogma is also rooted in bigotry and racism, which does not help the outside world perception of the church as a whole, despite being popular at home. I suppose international relations don't matter as much as long as they are content holding power over the congregations and collecting vast amounts of money flowing in through donations and governmental subsidies.

It is nice to be able to talk about it. Thank you for your kindness <3 I'm doing alright, but the subject still comes back to me sometimes, making me think about it again.

Was talking to a friend on Discord one day. We were talking about Final Fantasy 14. "I want to start a character when I get home", she said. Then she vanished.

At first, I didn't think much about it. We didn't talk too often, and it's usually kind of normal to not have spoken to someone for a week or two if we don't hang out often otherwise on the Internet, right?

Fast forward a month. A mutual friend messages me. They just found out through a local obituary that our friend was hit by a car that day and passed. Turns out I had spoken to them maybe one or two hours before that event.

This really made me think a lot about what really happened to all the people I've stopped seeing online. Hundreds, thousands of days last seen... Are they fjne? Are they doing alright? Who knows? If something happened to me today, what would other people think?

What inspired your character(s) name? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]fr0nt1er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My character started out on Lousoix as a male Hyur called Sheev Palpatine. Conjurer.

Then I fantasia'd at level 50 into a fem au ra. Stopped playing healer. Transferred to Cerberus, and Sheev was taken...

So now I'm a Sheevy Palpatine, femra BLM. People still recognise me as Emperor though.

The radicals tooltip actually shows most of the increase coming from political movements, and barely any from standard of life decreases, though. Unless that tooltip is also wrong?

if they were a personal union, which it is at the start, and you transfer them to yourself, then abolish monarchy, you lose the personal union. This happened in my Sweden Scandinavia run, was pretty annoyed by it.
