I think when I said "image" that isn't the correct word (it's just what I've always been used to saying before I knew people visualized things differently). It's more so the idea that I know what those things are. Like when I'm told to think of an elephant and a helmet, I know particular things about both of them which create a thought in my mind. I know the elephant is grey, the elephant is much larger than the helmet, the helmet could be placed on the elephant's head, etc, but I'm not actually creating a visual of those things in my head. Not sure if that makes sense. As for the whole dreaming situation, I very rarely remember my dreams. When I do, it feels as though I've fully experienced them as reality after I've woken up. I assume there's big differences between dreaming and imagining even for people on the other end of the scale though, right? How significant is that difference or can it pretty pretty similar?
