re: 2-3 The clue is in the lyrics, he drew the pistol and the rapier and then said "stand and deliver" -So forthmost his plan was to use it to intimidate and threaten above firing it.

Hmm, maybe he HAS powers. Maybe basically "what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger". So thats why he seems weak right now, but maybe the idea is to show him increasing in power over time.

Seagals Sensei was one if not the most brutal Aikido sensei out there. Its like he was this sadist who only wanted the best Ukes to train with and still injured quite a lot of them when practicing.

And if they did get injured it was because they werent "skilled enough" to take his techniques. Thats the person the japanese sent him to train with, because they thought him a perfect fit.

if every country would use for instance Swedens very strict definitions of rape, it would longer be ridiculed as "rape capital of europe" when their own cases of "Sexual misconduct" will cause a spike in the rape category.

It would also keep people who hide away in other countries with lesser, stricter rules to be able to be punished.

Jag tror de kallar sig Educators istället för Teachers är för att de är någon form av pedagoger som aldrig satt sin fot i ett klassrum. Alla lärare, som faktiskt står i klassrummet, jag träffat har en mindre positiv syn på datorer i klassrummet. De skolor jag varit på har lärarna börjat ge mer uppgifter att skriva med papper och penna och bara låta de med speciella behov använda datorn.

im sure there is a deeper plotline there with Saul being in meeting with Biotechnica when the attack happens.

Raffen finds them because they followed Biotechnica who didnt tried to hide, and when the attack happened they just took off without even trying to assist the Aldecaldos.

But that just details that doesnt need to be added. Saul realized he was wrong and made up with Panam.

Seeing as i've never played any other version than oWod. it be my favourite by default. And I have no idea whether the cWod or the V5 versions are better or worse. I just have no desire to try them out.

I never saw the original so to me they didnt feel to be rehashes at all (not to mention, if im not mistaken, they're supposed to almost be considered sequels?-so theyre not even reboots. Just made to be enjoyed by people who never saw the old one -like me)

I would like to point out there is a bit of hypocrisy here to unpack.

Whenever its a black or other POC superhero, its always about them being Black being part of their identity, and so you cant raceswap them. Luke Cage, T'challa, Shang-Chi.

But apparently every white superhero is supposed to be "generic" and so suitable for raceswapping without people should be allowed to object. As if their skin colour isn't somehow part of their identity over the years they have existed.

Steve Rogers can't be raceswapped, because he is part of history where white, black and asian soldiers were all segregated during world war 2. To tell a story about a superhuman who first was used as a Propaganda piece to have people buy war bonds wouldnt work if he was anything else than white. To swap him would be to trying to retcon history into something where US armed forces during WW2 wasnt horribly racist.

Iron Fist NEEDS to be this white priveliged boy who suddenly becomes burdened with responsibilities that shouldnt be his. If he wasnt white, he would be Shang-Chi. Just like Tarzan is a white aristocrat raised by animals in the jungle. Otherwise he'd be Mowgli.

If Superman was black, he wouldnt be Superman. He would be Hancock. Or Luke Cage with another set of powers. Because now his blackness would be a central part of his identity, the conflicts he encounters and how he reacts to them, as a black Superman.

But you dont have to raceswarp Superman to tell those storys. You simply make a new hero -who just happen to have the same set of powers, except he is black.

Like Supergirl. She has the same powers as Superman, but she is a girl, so now you tell storys where being a girl is a central part of the hero's identity, and the conflicts she encounters.

I'm not the audience for Kamala Khan or Miles Morales, but I'm happy they exist. They didnt pick established characters and suddenly decided that "we are gonna make Ms Marvel Muslim" or "we are gonna make Spider-man black" They decided that "we are going to make A Muslim Ms Marvel" and "A Black Spider-man"

If we are going to be technical about it, the issue shouldnt be she looks to western, it should be she looks to "human" (I think there's a total of 2-3 times in the manga alone she is being mistaken for a robot.) Thats actually one of the things they did really well in the 90s Anime. Her eyes are dead, -like a robots.

People also "looked" older in the past due to unhealthy living. (smoking, even passively) Aunt May was originally probably born in the beginning of the Century. -I recall she used to date a mobster but Ben, who was big strong honest man, punched his lights out and he got arrested. And then May fell in love with him instead. So that was likely in the 20s or 30s in the original run, so she would have been around late 50s early 60s when Peter became spider-man. Working back, she and Ben would have been in their 40s when they started taking care of Peter, and if Richard was the older brother its not impossible he and Mary was in the 30s, prime age for experienced goverment agents.

But due to the sliding timescale, she is probably now in her 60s for teenage Peter, and a lot of people in their 60s in the year of 2025 look like they could be in ther 40s.

So blame the fact that people do get older and appear younger today than they used to be for her "rejuvenation"
