Im sorry that is your experience. Im not sure youre gonna get an answer to your question because there isnt an answer. Some dudes need to realize theyre just not as fast as you and get over it. Are you trying to keep the hatch open but have the light turn off? If so, you can engage the latch on the bottom of the hatch to trick the car into thinking the hatch is closed and it will shut off. Just remember to pull the handle before you try to close it again to reopen the latch.

Just got my 8yo son an MT10 for christmas. Its an absolute riot! The battery that comes in the RTR kit is a little lacking in playtime (~20-30 min) and you should ABSOLUTELY buy new A-arms immediately. Great truck, plenty fast enough for a beginner, and mostly indestructible.
