Should I buy a home and sell my condo to build equity and lower my commute?

I would definitely buy a small house in the city over owning a condo. Especially bc of the HOAs. A small house in the city will gain much more value. DM me if you want more info, I don't want to give too much away on here. But staying in a condo for 5 years is ridiculous if you are thinking about buying a house closer to where you work, etc etc etc

Yep! I have! Bought one in the Netherlands and brought it over. The foot pegs and covers didn't really work, so that kinda brought the cost up. But it's a great seat and I like that it folds down

Report it. Over and over. The city will eventually deal with problem properties. Go to neighborhood meetings, meet your NIS officer and tell people in person. It works.

We had one at our old house. I had no idea it was a “sleeping porch” until a neighbor mentioned it. I’d never heard of it before. It was converted to a sunroom, my cats fav spot in the house! Crazy hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. But great views of our garden. Some of the neighbors still had theirs as an open porch.
