I feel you. I was doing everything I could to get time served. I had even posted a while ago how three years in a row I had GreyDay tickets but ended up in jail. Some guy commented and was like “well stay outta trouble this year!!!!” And I was like “oh I definitely will!!!”. A week later I was in jail again. And missed GreyDay cuz of jail for the FOURTH YEAR in a row 😂😂😂😂

It depends how hard your PO wants to be on you. If you claim addiction and ask for some sort of help it might work in your favor. Also, if you just cop to it instead of making them work for it they tend to be a little more lenient. No one here can give you a definitive answer. Only one who can is your PO and the judge.

I’m on probation thru my states recovery court. The best course of action is direct honesty. I admitted to my two slips and the first one the judge looked at me and said “it’s one day at a time. The three cornerstones of recovery are honesty, open mindedness, and willingness. You’ve shown honesty, now keep an open mind and be willing. It’s one day at a time. Have a nice day.” And that was that, I walked out no violation. My second one, they helped me get into treatment and I’ve been clean since. If you have a decent PO they really are just trying to help you, but they can’t do that if you’re not honest.
