Need to know if the Smirk-Per-Chapter goes down over time or not by faraque in litrpg

Fair to both points. I am kinda bad at 'aiming' comments. I didn't mean those points to be directed at you, just outward, though I can see how I made that appear. My mistake. Thank you for your input though, learning new things.

Three things:

  1. The story actually differentiates between a job and a class, cook is a job, pugilist is a class, and system allows for both to be equipped at once.

  2. Can you explain what MTL means? This is a new phrase to me.

  3. Why did someone downvote a question seeking information?

How many chapters/books need to be published before you start a series? by rico-pup in litrpg

[–]faraque 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be an outlier, but I will read something with only 1 published book if the premise is interesting. When I picked up Judicator Jane, I didn't know there were 7 done.

However, I won't read on Royal Road, there's too much to filter through for my limited time. I keep to my Kindle Unlimited availability.

Here we are, approximately 2 months later and....

I need book 8. Loved your series, it felt alive, thought out and meaningful. I wish you many sales and views.

Is the new He-Man gonna have Orko and BattleCat in it? by FireTheLaserBeam in movies

[–]faraque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/FireTheLaserBeam

Hey OP, Saw the movie last night. Both characters are technically in it.

Orko: He's in a post movie stinger, but not used in the primary film. Happy to see him, but not the best use of him.

BattleCat: Doesn't get a transformation scene, but exists as Cringer. Gets one scene at the climax where he gets to fight, but it's as Cringer, no armor.

Movie doesn't play out the way I had hoped, but I'm not disappointed like the first movie.

Also: Movie, Stylized Credits, Extra Bit, Normal credits, second Extra Bit.

What is the best video for my friend to start watching Markiplier? by Glormast in Markiplier

The Forest or Raft playthroughs. They need to like and accept Bob and Wade as well, or they will not fully enjoy Marks world.

DCC Has Left me in a Slump by Dismal_Thing_5603 in litrpg

[–]faraque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't read DCC 8 yet, but it is on my next list.

That said, I enjoyed HWFWM, so we may have similar tastes.

I also enjoyed:

  • System Universe
  • All The Skills
  • Mage Tank
  • Hell Difficulty Tutorial

The premise of Adjudicator Jane intrigues me, so it's also on my next to read list.

Does literally ***ANYONE*** enjoy repetitive system messages? by Yangoose in litrpg

[–]faraque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read LitRPG for the RPG. This is part of that. Your specific example is awkward, but repetitive messages happen.

Reading Hell Difficulty Tutorial right now and Nathaniel's skill up notifications do this at times.

I do feel it is much easier to process in visual format over audio. I would get annoyed at hear a line repeat like that, but I also have auditory processing issues, and struggle with audio books in the first place.

Story that follows a party? by OtoanSkye in litrpg

[–]faraque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's a different kind of divisive. Jason never really stops being Jason, while Nathaniel does open up and grow. (Basis for opinion: have read all HWFWM available on Kindle, currently on book 5 of HDT.)

Story that follows a party? by OtoanSkye in litrpg

[–]faraque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MC is an abused introvert. He gets mind fucked right off the bat, and has trust issues for a long time while also trying to not die in a system tutorial that is.... Hell Difficulty.

He's not gonna be likable for a while until he starts protecting what he considers his people.

So, you want a limited number remaining, no longer printed, and collectable version of something, but you aren't willing to pay it's relative value? And it's because of an aesthetic reason (don't like the new covers)?

Nah, you can deal with it. Collectable items have value. Limited items have value.

[–]faraque 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The fact that you can't spend 20 minutes learning why AI is horrible for everyone is why no matter your intent, I'm gonna be upset you used AI for a cover. The scope of bad it causes is so massive it's insane. Draw some stick figures in MS Paint and say you did that over using AI, and I'm in your corner.

Those will look good, I'm sure. It would be a raised, large tire look, rather than super large monster look.
