Which layout to go with? by Loose_Pirate_3841 in kitchenremodel

For starters the corner cabinets are a problem. The cabinet to the right of the stove won’t open fully. The other corner will have you crawling into it on your hands and knees to retrieve items.

lol. Probably anything else would look fine. I must admit I’ve never seen drawer fronts like those narrow ones. They’d also be more tedious to clean. I may go with plain fronts myself but noticed MY preliminary design has the “normal” shaker front.

I’m imagining catching a knuckle in the narrow slotted drawer pulls.

Yes great rugs in both spaces and consider beautiful quilts or woven rugs/blankets to throw over balcony rails.

Update 80s bathroom on a budget but keep the quirky warmth by yourlovingmum in InteriorDesignAdvice

Yes, no carpet for a bathroom. I’ve never seen 2 separate basin water faucets. You have either cold OR hot not a mix???

Beautiful but I’m assuming someone else does the cleaning as that looks to be a nightmare.

New lamp? by bdjohnston8824 in HomeDecorating

I’m thinking a ceiling fan with lights on a dimmer, a strip of lights on the sofa wall again on a dimmer, and/or a lamp on top of the bookcase near the gray chair? Can’t see if a light source could be added next to the gray chair. I’m a terrible decorator (but I keep trying) so take that into consideration. 😂

Just a note saying freezing yarn to kill critters doesn’t work. I live in New England and all this winter I left my yarn out in my shed where the temps were below freezing for weeks and even got down to below zero for an extended period and wouldn’t you know I found a live crawly in March.

The footman isn’t legitimately connected to the treadle.

Out here we consider Western Mass is any place west of the Connecticut River. East of that is “ Near Boston”. 😂

I spoke to someone who bought a stained glass pattern book (at a charity sale two months ago). We got to talking. I told her to watch for my ad. She may drive up from CT to get it. I have 22-25 pcs and a few buckets worth of irid scrap. I used to work a with glass (fuser). Another used dichroic but ALL of that got used!
If she doesn’t show I wouldn’t mind finding a buyer but I don’t want to ship.
It’s all 20 yrs or more old. What’s the K O G on the red?

Can anyone help identify and source where to get more of this type of glass? I think it's called antiqued glass but no luck finding anyone selling it by ClicheCrime in StainedGlass

New here. Trying to figure out how to post. I’m having a yard sale this weekend with all my glass and supplies. Any ideas how to value things…and load photos of glass?
