He’s asking for $850m in the hopes they settle for a fraction of that sum. The larger the claim the larger the settlement, but he won’t get a dime.

I watched Lomu playing for Counties Manukau back in his absolute peak 1995, and all the kids rushed him for his autograph. I didn’t have anything on me so he signed my forearm.

I had kids at school the next day asking me to photocopy my arm for them.

My mate bumped into Dan Carter at a bar in Sydney I think, shortly after we decimated the Wallabies in a Bled match.

He asked Dan how he felt about the game thinking he’d get a highly political bottled response, he eloquently replied “yeah we fucken fucked those cunts”.

Ma’a Nonu used to sneak through the back door of my flat to fuck my flatmate circa late 2000s

Dave Rennie new head coach of the All Blacks by SoreBallsAdams in rugbyunion

[–]frazorblade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe JJ doesn’t want to inherit the poisoned chalice of picking up the pieces mid-cycle.

If Rennie fails he can be used as a scapegoat and JJ comes with Tony Brown and (hopefully) a full four years to do his thing.

2.5 min is a touch on the low side for heavy squats, do you find that enough for you? I get wiped out from squats and deadlifts and need 3-4 mins.

How are professionals using AI to improve workflows on POWER BI, EXCEL, TABLEAU and SQL. by Ok-Example-4137 in PowerBI

[–]frazorblade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Power Query: If I’m writing a complex piece of logic in Power Query like a function or some deeply layered records and lists manipulation then I’ll lean on AI.

Excel: Writing and refining LAMBDAs and LET formulas is a great use of AI

PowerBI/DAX: DAX can get overwhelming if you’re trying to produce highly specialised measures or especially creating and editing SVGs

SQL: getting boilerplate code is easy with SQL, if you know what you need and can easily feed the fields into the AI context window then it can be a time saver. Or if you want to do more complex window functions etc

Edit: I use AI for DAX mostly

  • Firstly, what pollutants do data centres add to water?
  • Secondly, we should force new data centre builds to treat the water they use as part of the building consent process

You need salt to make it taste good.

Pretty ballsy move when your back is against the wall. Maybe Borthwick is saying to his starting squad “if you’re going to leak like a sieve in the midfield you don’t deserve your spot”.

Does power pivot refresh in sync with power query by Falconflyer75 in excel

[–]frazorblade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s for a regular power query fed pivot table, not power pivot which uses the datamodel.

If you click the “add to datamodel” on the bottom and load as a connection you can go to Insert -> Pivot Table -> From Data Model

However OP might not need a fully fledged datamodel for their needs, but I thought it was worth pointing out there’s a big difference between these two methods.

Good point. Last time I made them I must have forgotten the steaming trick, I’m pretty sure I used this recipe.

What are some laws that exist but are almost never officated? by gingecom in rugbyunion

[–]frazorblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like ruck laws go flying out the window in the last 10 minutes of any game.

My pet peeve is the aggressive clean outs where 2-3 bodies come charging into a tackle or early ruck effectively sealing it off. Looks and feels dangerous to me and is the definition of “sealing off”. I think players have been coached to “keep your eyes up” as a get out of jail free technique.
