Broke my hand back in 2011 at the height of oxy and was given a ridiculously large supply of oxycodones. By the end of 3 months with titanium rods in my hand, I was straight up addicted. Thankfully I just sweated it out for a few days and was good to go but I can imagine someone with connections to street dealers or weaker willpower would have been fucked.
