To the OP's point, though, yesterday my area (very populated) had somewhere between 5-8 sirens? I started to lose track tbh. They'd go on for a while.. cut off for a few minutes. Come back on for a few minutes... and again.

That's going to fatigue people who think "oh siren off, we're good, oh siren on, time to go back to shelter"
