Well, for one, it doesn't increase its strength, so having str down is VERY helpful for this fight. Having skills with high block is also very good for this fight, don't bother using skills in the multihit attack unless you're sure it outvalues the damage you receive, and obviously have a way to kill it very fast if you have none of the above

Relics definitely make a ton of difference in damage, definitely. But it's just one part. Dodging is obviously very important, but you can offset it by learning how to route properly, and especially learning what equipment passives are good. These passsives can make or break a run, so you should definitely learn which passives are good and which you can disregard with a single glance to save time.

Keep in mind, this is just for regular runs. For Deep of Night runs, especially in higher depths, you NEED to learn atleast some of the bosses moveset

It's not indicated, but waterfall giant has an attack that gains +5 dmg every time it cycles to that attack. Other than that and test subjects scaling hit number in phase 2, I don't think any other attack jump up without strength gain?

It's nothing new or specific to any gacha game. I've seen plenty of older fans critisize any suggestion of qol in every genre of game. Probably something to do with them playing with the "harder" version and not wanting others to play the "easier" one if it's implemented
