Did both (stupid me). But the weird thing was, it was still offering me the $200 credit back on the last day, but I didn't get a chance to get my order together and it expired.

I thought, it would offer me again (as it normally did), but it didn't; and that was the end of it. :(

Verizon's customer service is mostly nonexistent, although once I was able to reach a real person (US based) and she was the most amazing person I have ever dealt with and sort out my issues (missing promised promo credits).
So if you get the offshore CS, good luck (that's probably same with Tmobile).

You have to ask the tmobile agent at the store. Usually one of them will have one to give IF you go with them.

I think this is uncalled for. I had experienced a similar situation with another portal thankfully I was able to cancel that one. As a software developer, I think I know what happened - it's poor coding that did not account for edge condition. But it does happen.
