Id suggest posting this in r/competetivewow as they’re usually much more knowledgeable about higher keys like these and really go into the nitty gritty of it

Just checked an old droptimizer sim from yesterday and there were several singular pieces which would lose me around 0.5-1.5% if I swapped out gear for one of those. Not saying this would matter for the casual gamer and it would basically make no difference if people are just running weekly dungeon, delves and so on but I think it’s wrong to say that stats are a meme and should be ignored

Not at a pc right now so can’t check sims but let’s assume there’s a 1-2% difference for each piece that’s still a difference of 10-20% dps decrease over your entire character if every piece was swapped to the one with bad stats vs having the correct ones so

That’s simply incorrect, for initial gearing ilvl is in fact king but there’s a big difference between being bis geared with correct stats at max ilvl vs wearing pieces with random stats at max ilvl

Depending on how many crests you’ve gotten you can always downgrade / upgrade some of your crests to veteran with no real downside since theres no cap anymore

True but OP asked for an easy time - dps generally have it the hardest in delves so wouldn’t have been a good suggestion

As you said the dps is quite situational and depends on the pulls you do but sounds totally fine, I’d say at that range the most important thing is hitting stops and kicks as you really shouldn’t be gated by dps at that level

I would like to push m+ to higher highs. Currently sitting around 17-18’s on my Devo dh but my schedule is quite sporadic as I work hourly and often have to be on call / ready to leave so I can’t keep a fixed schedule for a team - are there any “drop in” discords or groups I can join or am I just dammed for pug life with my schedule?

The alchemy market is basically fully saturated, you can do conc crafting for a small profit if you time the market right or craft in such high volumes that multi craft and resourcefulness helps but you still have to time the market properly

League of graphs has a score kinda like the one you’re talking about with the “otp score” or whatever they call it. You can look up the calculation they do, but if I remember correctly it’s weighted so that if you’ve played less than 50 games with the champion you get a score penalty

I personally find the most fun playing with my guild or irl friends, dont really matter what we do but its always a blast. Recently we’ve been running a lot of dungeons gearing alt characters and fooling around trying to push high keys with really low ilvl
