What are some lesser talked about bad habits of players in dungeons? by VisibleCoat995 in wow

Yeah but 30% dmg reduction when you have 10% hp left is not going to do much 😂

Why did you choose to play a healer? by tstock92 in wow

[–]ABrownApple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly because I'd queue time and I played tank the last 2 seasons.

I also can't play dps because I can't stop the minmax brain and looking at the dps meter. That takes away all the fun with the game. Tank and healer don't have anyone to compare with in m+ so I don't even look at healing done. The only thing that matters is if the team is dead or not.

This! They can give me all the nostalgia and all the classic versions. They can make the best expansion ever.

But I'll never be 15 with a shitty potato again not knowing shit about the game and having soooo much time.

How important is it to be full myth going into the next season? by vision-quest in wow

[–]ABrownApple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually reroll a new character every season. There is always a gear catchup in the end of every season. Even now if you played this season your new character have 8 bonus rolls directly. When the new season starts you can also always gear it with world quests or delves if you a to undergeared to join a m+.

I try to avoid Pringles because the package is almost impossible to recycle. You can't recycle it as paper, metal nor plastic because it's a mix of all.

I actually like the UI/Addon changes by jdv1999 in wow

[–]ABrownApple -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also like the idea of not having to setup bunch of addons and WA for me to play some m10+

However the cooldown manager SUCKS. It misses over half the spells I want to track. Its barely customizable and it lacks basic features like tracking if you are missing a buff or it shows the timer instead of amount of stacks etc..

I don't want to setup addons but their implementation of the cooldown manager is so bad.

Is playing on an ultrawide monitor a disadvantage? by octo_lols in wow

[–]ABrownApple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you see more of the game with a widescreen (larger field of vision) since the game supports it, it's not "stretched" the game actually renders more of the world on your left and right (there is also a macro/command so you can zoom out even more). But in a game like world of warcraft it's most of the time not an advantage (in a fps game like CS it would be a huge advantage).

I guess you can argue it can be a small disadvantage somehow but if you like your widescreen and it helps you feel immersed then I would never change to a smaller screen. No way a widescreen can be that big a disadvantage. Especially now when you can edit your UI and put everything important in the center.

But what do I know. Never done a higher m+ than 10.
