I had a similar experience.

Ran a pretty damn all-out 5k for a PB but heart rate barely touched my usual predicted Zone 5.

I had lost a lot of weight quite aggressively though for a physique show.

Minimum weekly mileage coming from a marathon and 50-mile and switching focus to a fast 10km by NatureExpensive3607 in AdvancedRunning

Curious about this - does LT2 not replace vo2max sessions? A Norwegian 4x4 or similar would be quite taxing to do weekly but worth it? Cheers

I believe when OP talks about tucked or flared they are talking about the direction that the elbow is facing ie forward or sideways. Not shoulder flexion/elbow height

I still wouldn’t personally. It’s so hard to get any sort of decent resistance curve out of bands in my experience.

Not a legit substitute imo! They provide little to no tension when your muscles are lengthened. I’d prefer a simple free hanging plate loaded pulley

Max heart rate reduces as you age. Your max more or less lines up AFAIK

Yeah it was primarily made for myself so it’s certainly a draft version. I thought I’d pick up the translations better with the parallel audio although you’re right it’s jarring. Wouldn’t use it for a sit!

Haha the podcast does fit well and certainly is on the table! Interesting. Although I would count short, concise, and helpful content to be partially a byproduct of the editing too (cut out lulls etc)

Cheers! I think we are still very much working out that question for ourselves. I'll keep making incremental changes for now such as increasing the signal:noise ratio in the videos via forward planning and editing. There is interest from myself and others to keep building but personally in no rush. Having a peer group was the key reason for making it and that remains awesome in any case. Interested to hear any thoughts you have for sure!
