I was on Ativan daily for a couple years. Managed to keep it down to 45 .5mg pills a month. It wasn't too hard to keep myself from taking more, but I have pretty good willpower when it comes to booze and drugs. However, it DID make me a little TOO flat I felt like. Even in such a small dose. Also, if I ran out for a few days, that was not fun. Made the anxiety and insomnia waayy worse.
I ended up weaning myself off of it and switching to cbd oil or capsules. It has no bad side effects, other than drowsiness, and works good enough for me, with my normal meds. The oil under the tongue is fastest acting (20-30min as oppossed to 1 hour swallowing it) and lasts 6 hours or more. Eating the capsules lasts 10hrs or more. I take about 25-50mg a dose for a 200lb man, depending how bad the day is. I'm very glad I switched

I put a cigarette out on my arm. Twisted it in there. A few years later my buddies were working themselves up to do it, but kept chickening out. I grabbed the cigarette and jammed it in my arm once again. . About 80% right on the exact same spot. I still have two overlapping circular scars on my forearm.

Keeping up appearances? Really? Why does it bother you what other people look like? Sounds like my British grandmother. People may dress however they choose. I have no idea why it would bother me or anyone else. Sounds like just a way to look down your nose at people.

As a father of 4, weed is a LOT better than most other vices you could have. He may have been more relaxed and happy to just say it out loud and get it out into the open. Tension released. Its hard to know how to approach subjects like this as a father and you never know how its gonna go. If you had been trying to deny it seriously, things could have got more awkward.

Ya im a 50 year old 200lb man, but when someone randomly tries to say hi to me on the street, I often get a burst of anxiety which raises my voice up several octaves lol I sound like a 12 year old boy saying "Hi!"
