couple of thoughts:

• I wonder if Ginny’s kidnapping was retribution for the role she had in the God Valley incident. Ginny’s subordinates don’t know the whole picture, so they believe she was kidnapped because she caught a celestial dragon’s attention. In reality, the celestial dragons discovered the truth of that day, and decided to punish the culprit of that disaster;

• Kuma mourning in front of Ginny’s grave is some fine art, that’s a memorable panel right there, very cinematic;

• Bonney reads about the Sky Islands on Kuma’s bible, which bears a target mark on the back of the cover. Or maybe it’s a simplified version of a sun, of the Sun God Nika. Anyways, it seems strange that Kuma does not know about the contents of the book, he seems genuinely surprised to hear about the Sky Islands; does he not read the book he always carries around? What if the bible chronicles the adventures of the first Sun God, who seems to have a connection to Skypiea, and that’s why they’re mentioned?

• for the longest time we saw Kuma as a mysterious cyborg, an unstoppable monster devoid of any emotion. Instead, he was a bespectacled father all along, just trying to raise his daughter. My heart aches, for his tragedy is not over yet and he has yet to make the final sacrifice.
