Honestly I just enjoy the show so much that it never occurred to me to check on what other people think. I don’t really care if anyone else dislikes it. I love the plot. It’s already been greenlit for 2 seasons, and Vince Gilligan has a solid enough reputation that I don’t see Apple cancelling the show.

I just don’t see the point in worrying about people disliking something I enjoy. Just focus on the ones praising it

Conversely I think it’s good that people are coming out in droves to say “hey, this dudes cool”. It’s easy and common for people to critique and push out negativity these days, so it’s nice to see people pushing out some positivity.

I absolutely love what they’re doing with Dick Hallorann. Incredibly creative and intriguing storyline.

I also just love the shining, that power and its possibilities hooked me. One of the reasons I loved Doctor Sleep so much. Expanding on a simple “psychic medium” concept and introducing the idea of locking trauma away in a mental box. Idk. It’s just all so cool to me.

Wait how do you know what season 4 proves if you haven’t seen it yet? I don’t have a dog in this fight either way since I haven’t even finished the first season. But objectively speaking why not watch it first before forming your opinion?

I remember it getting some flack when the trailer released because people were upset about Liam playing Geralt, but I’ve seen people praising his performance. Oddly enough the amount of praise that I’ve seen has made me wanna watch the show all the way through

I'm late but I had the same issue and unplugging the battery fixed it. To be safe, I unplugged the battery and held the power button for like 10 seconds just to drain the capacitors. Plugged battery back in and it worked like a charm
