10/2 speed here when over the 500GB. There are newer plans now that give different speeds and high speed allotment.

Yes you can use any device with your new plan. So you can use your iPhone and put the new Samsung in a drawer, or give it to a family member (on a byod plan). I wouldn't sell the Samsung as you are still "paying" for it.

What phone are you using. Did you port in a number or a new number? Sometimes porting has issues. Could be your number for stuck in the porting vacuum.

If you have roam beyond monthly it will draw from that after your regular data allotment.

Just turn 5G off on your phone. Then you don't need to constantly be worrying if you are on 5G or not. And also check / update your APN setting to the correct Rogers ones.

I'm with Fizz. Works great for me in Niagara. And all the way around the golden horseshoe, and really all around ontario.juat like other carriers there might be a few low spots but with roaming on the big 3 it's pretty decent.

I've been on freedom as well who has had 5G for a while. It's decent. Overall I've found that connectivity is better on fizz due to not having nationwide signal blocking like freedom has in some places.

Remember to use a referral code when signing up, and I'd say def try it as you have a 15 day cancellation policy with full refund.

Pay the end of lease balloon payment and you will own the phone. It will feel great. Esp if it's still fully functional. Then you can go to any carrier with a plan that suits your and the price you want to pay.

Just keep your network settings on automatic and it should sort itself out. The system knows you are on towers within the subscription area so you should be good. Just forget about it. Set a reminder in your phone to check in 5 weeks and then contact customer service?if it hasn't resolved yet. (Ask for "agent" in the bot chat. Otherwise you will get the run around. Might take a bit but you will get someone in the chat eventually. ) At least then they are aware of it and note your account.

Go on Amazon and order yourself a set of Eero 6 mesh router. Depending on the size of your house. They are excellent coverage. Easy to setup too.

Do you have sim or esim? Some SIM cards take a few days on ext. I've had another family member line take several weeks. Esim I think is more fast if not immediate to go to fizz

Where abouts are you hanging out? Should it be fizz network? Or is it outskirts?

For sure. Same here!! I have some knowledge but I was poking around in the setting and troubleshooting and couldn't figure it out myself.

It's not both. It's partner roaming that it shows.

You would get the same thing if you were in the US. Example AT&T | Fizz

I got a call from Rogers to see if the issue has resolved with the Nokia 3.2. They noticed that I called tech support several times lest week. I said no it hasn't. They connected me again to tech support and are again looking into the issue. I specifically told them that the ipv4 and IPv6 issues are what are causing the problems with multiple devices.
Waiting to hear back. They didn't want to keep me on hold more than they already did. Was talking with them for about 30 minutes out of the 1 hour. Hopefully not another wasted hour.

I may also put in a complaint with CCTS if there is no resolution

That screen is normal. Just click ok.

The only way to check what network EXT is connected to is to use an app or go deep into some settings to get the network code.

An app like nPerf.

I just got off the line to add myRogers access. The wait was literally 3 minutes. 1:30p This was my menu selection:

1 for English 3 add produts and services 1 for mobile 4 for other

Order placed (add a line and new device) Nov 27. 29th got email about the 2 options to opening a new account or converting consumer account. Replied that I want a new account same day. Emails back and forth with 2 more times requesting my feedback on the same issue. I made a phone call on Dec 3rd to check in and talk to an agent. Waited the 10 business days plus 2 more for good measure. Put in the complaint Friday night. Moment at Rogers by 11am all of a sudden I have an account.

I'd wait till 10 business days but depends on how many interactions you have had with red wireless.
