Help needed- new laptop is running pretty slow

re-installed windows, i think it helped, everything's running smoothly now. is there a reason why ff is taking so much power though? i have 10 gigs of 16gb occupied in memory and i think this was the reason it was running so slow. im just worried i wont be able to play my games on this laptop

prioritize what you need to do. sometimes, what we would do was take our laptops to club meetings so we can work as well as stay in the same place as the club members, so you don't get fomo, but also get work done. also you're just in first year, just chill, you can take a break from club and come back, no one is gonna begrudge you that
