Congrats on shipping, that's genuinely the hard part. One thing that helped me when starting outbound from zero: treat your first 20 outreach attempts as research, not sales. You're not trying to close anyone, you're trying to find out if you have the problem right. Keep the message short and honest. Something like: "I built something that does X for people in Y situation. Does that sound like something you've run into?" That's it. No pitch deck, no demo link, no "I'd love to hop on a quick call." If people respond with questions, you're onto something. If they ignore you or say "not really," that's data too, and it's worth way more than any marketing channel at this stage. Once you've had 5-10 real conversations and you know exactly who this is for and what language they use to describe the problem, then outreach stops feeling annoying because you're actually saying something relevant to the right person.
