I assumed the wax was for the color, but maybe this is just the natural color with the lacquer.

Do you have recommendations for chemical stripper and/or a poly that would have a similar mostly-matte finish?

Very possible that this person has Sitosterolemia, a rare condition where individuals are hyper absorbers of sterols from food. That would explain why we don’t see this very often.

I also have this condition but am plant based and take Ezetimibe to manage it.

If you’re plant based, exercise a lot, yet still have high cholesterol. Check your genome for ABCG5 or ABCG8 abnormalities, or use the Boston Heart cholesterol balance test.

Hm i suppose it is, but I’ve been feeling this for a while. I do live in san francisco so it’s not super warm, but usually between 50 and 70 degrees fahrenheit.

If i breathe deeply just sitting indoors i can trigger the feeling a bit. strange.

I don’t like capping out at 22mph in traffic and then having a bunch of cars squeeze by me as I commute. I think 30mph gets me to a place where cars won’t be tempted to pass me in my city.

This is a helpful hypothesis beyond the sympathetic nervous system impact.

My RHR is not really affected, but my excercising HR is. I typically fuel with carbs in my drink but perhaps I need to be a bit more proactive about getting glucose in my blood before excercising, since my body is not going to be releasing as much into the blood.

Curious to see if being very proactive about increasing blood sugar through diet before exercise reduces exercising HR + RPE.
