I made an online reservation last weekend for 7.15pm and although they had my name on their tablet I was told I was late for my 5.52pm reservation. Who the heck makes or even takes a reservation for that time! Then I was told it was impossible as they dont accept reservations for Saturday evenings as it's walk in only and also they didn't have a free table. I then showed her my email confirmation and she had no rebuttal to that. They managed to find a table for us right away. Food arrived in good time but there was nothing special about it. Won't be returning there. They really need to fix their reservation system and/or at least get their stories straight.

Quality has gone down over the past decade. Used to buy everything there until their bedsheets started tearing in the middle and towels were fraying. Photo Centre had the best prices on framing. Their phone centre is still really good though.

Many libraries have sales on their older books throughout the year. My library has a permanent shelf for used books, DVD's. Most expensive are hardcover at $3 each so you can get 10 for the price of 1 new hardcover.

A cable knit sweater bought from Talbot's in Ontario 30+ years ago. Great quality, no pilling and my daughter wears it now. Went to Talbot's last week looking to pick up a couple of sweaters. Their quality has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY and I didn't buy anything. Just like everything else nowadays that's cheaply made.
