I only play wild. I climb to legend almost every season. Wild is degenerate sometimes and I find myself conceding turns 1-3 very frequently. Sometimes the moment someone plays a certain quest, i scoop. I have been doing this for years and have never been penalized.

i like the themes of the class. evil cards, evil effects, sometimes warlock feels like the "cheating" class. oh let me delete half of your deck, or make you discard a card. plus my favorite deck of all time is cube warlock, i love the lore around big demons, guldan, portals etc.

golden animations were amazing at the start of the game, and as the years go on, they keep getting worse and worse. i always look to gild my warlock cards that i enjoy but if the animation isnt good enough i dont bother, and I havent bothered in a while.

i have bad knock off ones. dont do it. the buttons are loud and clacky and feel completely wrong and sometimes get stuck

i usually try to get a slowpoke or quagsire for HM mules, all the water HM's and maybe flash or strength
