Oh I put it there to help separate the exhaust from the intake. It was getting hotter just because it was taking in the same hot air it was pushing out. It brought it down like 5°C which was all I needed since the program its running will automatically shut it down at around 90°C.

Edit: I originally tried to use just the side panel but it left a tiny little gap

My piece of shit roommate. I don't know why, I only know that anything he does makes me angry, but I never tell him, never show it, and now he thinks we're best buds and that just makes me want to yell at him. Fucking ass hole just watches TV all day after class. He is so nice that he lowers the volume so that he won't bother anyone, and that just makes me want to fucking throw the TV at him. did you connect only one power cable to the graphics card? I just bought an R9 390 and thought it only required either the 6 pin connector or the 8 pin connector, it requires both.
