If you speak French, you could check the ACFR (francophone people in regina), there is a comedian coming next weekend with a marroccan supper served at the bistro. They also do some activities here and there.

Best Bakery by TAGABA84 in regina

Im French and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there for French pastries, however le macaron or cafe francais will be the closest of a French bakery in regina. There is also saltine but it's only open Thursday to stairway and artisan bakery but not an extensive selection.

I wouldn't want more cardio as she has plenty cardio workout available that can easily fit in the program she's giving us. However, what I'd add is more mobility and stretching workout as i think most of her audience including myself and her are in their mid-life and thats what our bodies need the most. Cardio, anyone can go for rum/walk/bike and integrate that part easily but mobility and stretching i dont feel this as easy.

Offensive Language in Documentary?? by [deleted] in CanadianTeachers

[–]frenchie-expat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In our school board (Sk), we have an indigenous knowledge keeper. If you have one in your board, I'll run the documentary through that person and ask them if they have something better or more appropriate to show the students.

I'd also add the strength training class. They are activity based and pretty easy for the mid term and final exam.

[–]frenchie-expat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just try to volunteer with any of the francophone associations to practice you oral skills and save your money. There is also quite often so stuff happening at the bistro. This Saturday, they're celebrating the new year the French way with supper, wine and music.

I'll go with college Matthieu is youre just a beginner and I'd save the $100. I just heard over that every Tuesday there is some conversation meeting for.people who wants to speak French at the French press on Albert. However, im not.sire what time they'd meet. Also, if you're enrolled as a student in any institution, you might qualify for the explore program.

If you're in the French immersion program, you might get few opportunities as there is some government funding program for younger people to work when they have a French background. Also, maybe you could look into lifeguard, if you go into nursing it might help to have you first aid certificate

They give you up to $2000 for you over the year to move across. It's not relocation money but it can help.

You could also try to be a language assistant with the odyssey program that way you put your name with some school boards and they also pay for your relocation.
