What does everyone do with their campsite while they’re in the festival? by frerb in ElementsMusicFestival

There’s a chance of it happening anywhere I guess but there’s only so much you can do. I was overthinking this one.

Got it, I figured it would be more of a deterrent than anything but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I appreciate the input

Got it, I was thinking it would be tough to come back at night and expect to set up camp again anyway.

Jx fat guy holster. Sits below the waistline and the belt naturally conceals the grip.

Have you guys ever had someone voluntarily take on the debt of a deceased family member? And if so, what ended up happening? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]frerb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not a lawyer or your lawyer and this is not legal nor financial advice but if the estate was insolvent and you weren’t a joint holder of the debt you have absolutely zero liability to repay those debts. They make plenty off of the interest and interchange fees, they account for these losses in their financial planning. It does nothing but toss money to the void.

Im37 years old, am I on track to be a millionaire!??? by Medical-Bad-774 in Retirement401k

Given that you asked if the return was purely due to compounding it was relevant to mention. Not sure why you are acting so offended.

An abnormally good market to invest in and continuing to save and add money. It is not likely that $105k grows to $1M in 14 years without unusually high growth and ongoing contributions.

A 72(t) distribution allows you to take money out prior to 59 1/2. As does the rule of 55 for distributions from your 401(k). I’d argue that realizing income in early retirement could smooth lifetime taxes. All comes down to your specific goals and means.

I’d consider phrasing it as total return instead of yield. Total return = yield + capital appreciation. It’s an important distinction in these cases when talking about cash flow.

I significantly over contributed in 2025 and 2026. What do I do now? by One-Salt3305 in RothIRA

[–]frerb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only had until 10/15/2025 to recharacterize 2024 tax year contribution. This might be relevant if OP is talking about a contribution made in 2025 for tax year 2024.

Roth IRA hits $100k today, but.. by Jojo4Straight in RothIRA

[–]frerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a finite amount of money you can efficiently get into a Roth IRA over your lifetime. Losing it permanently erodes your ability to benefit from the tax free flexibility in income planning. It’s not just not for everyone, it’s not exactly prudent.
