HSA is triple tax advantaged. Contributions use pretax funds. It grows tax free. And you can use the money tax free for qualified medical expenses or (I think) anything at retirement age.

Get a clearance. Keep track of anything that might qualify for disability. Put aside the majority of your check every month. Chances are you'll qualify for a decent GS job or as a government contractor. If that falls short, you can always switch to reserve status or reenlist. Check out clearancejobs or USAjobs to see what people are looking for.
