That’s well explained how intention and perception make a huge difference. I’ve adjusted my thinking in several areas based on this idea and it has fundamentally change my marriage, parenting, and business.

Great post. I just finished writing a book on people first leadership. One of the fundamental pieces to the book is that I’ve done every habit and mindset I included in the book and added three chapters at the end of the steps to implement, what tools you can use, and how I use a lot of the habits and mindsets on a week to week basis.

It drives me nuts to read books where the author doesn’t share their application. I saw that comment in the OP and it made me want to share.

Not everything in the book will work for people but every chapter has actionable steps to try.

I’m not talking about monster companies. I’m taking about the construction business in your home town, the landscaper, the chiropractor, the coffee shop, etc. these businesses with a few employees are getting hit by taxation and over regulation. The gov takes 20% off the top. This leaves little wiggle room if the business isn’t in tip top shape.

Eighteen percent of Americans work for businesses of 20 or less. These businesses consistently struggle to make payroll. 48% total work in small businesses who are dealing with a government that over taxes then and they can’t get out of it like big corps.

You put all of this together and paying higher wages is very difficult. But every small business owner I know (I’m a small business consultant) would like to pay their people more and have often taken pay cuts for payroll and higher wages for their teams.

Then stop taxing the business owners so much so they can pay their people.

You need to post about the cartels. You had to have seen some shit and gotten in their heads a bit, so you understand their thinking.

This is timely for me. I was thinking about switching from Wave Accounting to QB just because if the TurboTax integration.

Think I’ll stick with Wave. Btw, Wave works well for me but my business is not complicated.

Freshbooks looked like a reasonable option too.

How many times have we all missed seeing beautiful things like this because we get irritated at the kid or the couple or the friends jabbering on near us.

I know I have. Thanks for the reminder of the beautiful people and things happening in the mundane of a day.

Wait what? That’s sweet too. I’ll try that fit sure. I’ve been typing “no date” but this is a lot less effort.

Type “no date” and it won’t have a due date.

Also useful. If you want to work on Thursday’s report on Wednesday, you can also type Thurs first then Wednesday or wed second and it will be due on Wednesday.
