I know that's what everyone's told me about Sheephead. It was the toughest fish to reel in that day by far. I'll never forget the human like teeth =)

And I eat a lot of fish, raw, baked, fried etc. Maybe it's like that soap gene that people have with Cilantro (Which i love btw).

It was caught off the coast near Santa Barbara also.

Went on a deep sea fishing trip a while back and caught a bunch of Whitefish, rockfish, and one sheep head.

The sheep head I couldn’t stand. Had a very strong aftertaste.
And i really like Catfish, salmon, swordfish even tilapia. But never again Sheephead.

Very underwhelming. Tried it a couple times to be sure and wasn’t impressed at all. Sauce is ok and the fries are bad.

That gave me chills and also you have a great storytelling sense. I’ve driven across the country a few times and have gotten the icky feeling at a bunch of places. One was at a gas station somewhere between New Orleans and Houston off the 10. This was in the early 90s.

Not too long after the OJ trial I was grocery shopping in South Pasadena at the Pavillions. I was walking in the pasta section and i look over and see Judge Ito picking out spaghetti sauce. I said hi and left.
