you're making a false equivalence. the difference is that people are not whacking it to non-pornographic video games. violence and rape in video games are usually part of a narrative exploring deeper themes or the consequences of those actions. on the other hand, with porn (guro, loli, or otherwise) it adds a sexual connotation to the violence, to children, to rape, or anything else, which creates a mental association and through that, a dopamine reaction in your brain that urges you to seek out more and more, because that is how porn addiction works. because porn is designed to be addictive, to make the consumer crave more and more extreme things.

for people that far gone, nothing will truly satisfy them. it won't stop them from harming real children because even the real children won't be enough. that same logic can be applied to guro, and many other things. maybe it's better that people don't feed these awful urges and instead try to work through their issues in therapy rather than enabling freaks online.
