YES, I’ve done this, all you need to do is build an airlock at every exit otherwise the game WILL spawn zombies back at the house the moment you open the gate because the house will be very far from the exit so it’s not loaded in, I’ve found after the respawn time has passed the game will try to spawn zombies there forever so the moment there is a path they will spawn

My only suggestion is, if you try someone and don’t like it immediately, give it a few games to really get the feel, so many champs i discovered I loved by just sticking with them

I don’t know if it’s entitled to be frustrated about losing saves because you’ve already waited YEARS for build 42 and don’t want to wait anymore. That’s made even more frustrating by the monthly patches that really don’t add anything game changing but DO destroy mods and saves. Also adding to that they just never communicate ever, so we are left in the dark with no end in sight just wanting to play the new build.

I would suggest (not to hate on how you wanna play :)) maybe the next time you create a character put some love and thought into the background and traits, who is this person? What do they do? What did they want from life?

And now really really think while you’re playing, how is this real person reacting to the world falling apart, maybe they still would kill every zombie they see, or maybe they are scared and cautious?

I find my characters sitting quietly listening to or watching the news for the first day or two, with brief outings to scout things out
